Poll hijacked by council

The Poll to the left has been hijacked by the Council I believe it is done by Labour Councillors and Council employees trying to influence the vote, so nothing new there then.

Nick Peel Labour Councillor on Parking Policy group whose allowances recently published at £15,000 reads this blog, not bad wages for a part timer, think I'll send off for an application form.

Yep, I also beleive the poll has been hijacked, as of Monday the poll as 20 yes and 24 no. now its 39 yes and 30 no.

Threre is a hell of alot of computers in bolton town hall and ide say that 70% have internet access, its a shame that we couldnt find out the ip addresses of the voters, I would bet that most will come from an ip that comes out of the town hall.

Hi,

I just read your blog. Good on you - we need more people like you. I am also a member of the public dealing with a specific Bolton council issues at the moment (another dept.) and the poor/misguided conduct we've seen is exactly the same.

We are somewhat heartened to know that we're not alone in fighting these injustices!

Just as an aside, if you tag your blogger posts with words "bolton, council, (....etc)" (it provides this option at the bottom) they will be picked up by Google more easily.

Regards.
